THIS IS HOW TO IDENTIFY FAKE MIRACLES IN CHURCHES

 The bible gave us several warnings about counterfeit miracles being performed by false prophets especially in these last days. 

Mathew chapter 24: 24 says  "For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

We live in a generation where believers are after signs and wonders instead of true worship. They don't care what power the prophet is doing the miracle with, they don't care whether the fruits of the spirit can be seen in the life of the prophet, the only thing that matters to them is that they get a miracle.

They roam about from from church to church, crusade to crusade paying huge amount of money to sow seeds that will grow their miracles. Seeking for miracle is not bad, miracle is a gift from God, it provides evidence of God's presence, power and authority in the world but seeking for a miracle in the wrong way and at the wrong place is against the word of God.

Fake pastors and prophets are able to perform miracles even though the powers are not of God, some of them are empowered by demons why some don't even perform anything. They only manipulate and trick people into believing a something that never happened.

If counterfeit miracles are possible, how do we discern which ones are genuinely of God and which ones are not?  The bible doesn't specifically tell us how to identify counterfeit miracles but it does tell us how to identify false prophets and teachers.

One way to identify a false prophet is to check if his teaching is in agreement with the word of God. 1st first John chapter 4: 3 says "Every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God". You need to measure the messages that are being thought by the pastor.

If the pastor denies that Jesus Christ is the God man, that God came in the flesh. If he puts himself in place of God, if he refuses to acknowledge Jesus as the only remedy for the salvation of mankind. If he preaches only miracles, signs and wonders,  If he manipulates the word to suit the desires of the flesh, flee from the place, the pastor or prophet is definitely false.

Another way to identify a false prophet is to check if his life bears evidence of the work of the holyspirit. Matthew chapter 7: 16 says "Ye shall know them by their fruits". 

There should be demonstration of their Christlikeness in their homes, habits, character and spiritual maturity. The life of the teacher should be a reflection of God's commandments.

The both factors must be met in order to verify that a pastor or prophet is truly of God. Miracles done by teachers without evidence of godly character or sound biblical agreement are counterfeit at their spiritual core, even if a miracle has truly occurred. 

The holyspirit is our ultimate guide and I pray the spirit guides you to be able discern a false and a real prophet.
