Four Steps to Recover Your Exchanged Destiny

Your destiny is what God has created you to be. It is your assignment on earth and God's original plan for you before birth. When a person is born, familiar spirits, marine spirits, demons, and other principalities examine the newborn's destiny. If they recognize it as a great one, they attempt to exchange it for something else.

These wicked powers can swap your strength for weakness, your health for sickness, your confidence for inferiority, your life for death, your wisdom for foolishness, your fulfillment for frustration, your focus for distraction, and much more. To be free from these powers and recover your exchanged destiny, here are four essential steps to take.

1. Give Your Life to Christ

Jeremiah 1:5 says, "Before I formed thee in the belly, I knew thee." God knew you even before you were conceived. He is the one who ordained your destiny, and only He can restore it.

Turn away from all your sins and surrender your life to Jesus. That is the only way to draw Him close to fight for you. If you do not surrender your life to Jesus, He will remain distant, and your destiny will remain in captivity within the kingdom of darkness.

2. Pray and Fast

Matthew 11:12 says, "The kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force." The devil hates you and will do everything possible to keep you wretched. He is determined to hold your destiny hostage for as long as possible—unless you fight back.

Prayer and fasting are the most powerful ways to challenge these forces and reclaim your destiny. Dedicate as much time as possible to prayer. Challenge every man, woman, altar, kingdom, or ancestral power that has exchanged your destiny. Pray in the morning, in the afternoon, but most importantly, at midnight. Midnight prayers are the most effective because, at that hour, many spiritual transactions take place in the unseen realm.

3. Stay Focused

Many people become the enemies of their own destiny by losing focus. They allow themselves to be easily distracted. One key to fulfilling your destiny is to remain focused, no matter how great the opposition may seem.

When you stay focused on your vision, it empowers you to overcome opposition and helps you crush every scheme of the devil working against you. Opposition is part of the journey. If you allow distractions where you are supposed to soar like an eagle, you will end up crawling like a chicken.

4. Never Quit

Your destiny defines who you are; it is the ultimate reason for your existence on earth. Never stop fighting for it, and never quit.

Your destiny is too valuable to be abandoned. You cannot afford to fail in fulfilling it. Make it a daily duty to take actions that bring you closer to your purpose. Stay disciplined, press forward with determination, and you will emerge victorious.
