Uebert Angel: A Life of Faith, Miracles, and Kingdom Impact

Uebert Angel is a gospel preacher and the founder of Spirit Embassy, a Pentecostal ministry in the United Kingdom. He was born on September 6, 1978, in Masvingo, Zimbabwe. He grew up in Zimbabwe and was called into ministry by God at the age of seven. Later, he moved to Manchester, England, where he founded the Spirit Embassy ministry in 2007.

Uebert Angel holds two financial degrees, a postgraduate degree in education from the University of Bolton, and a master’s degree in Entrepreneurship from the University of Edinburgh.

In October 2015, the Spirit Embassy ministry rebranded its name to the "GoodNews Church." The ministry attracted numerous followers, and there are currently 70 branches in over 15 countries across Europe, Africa, and the United States.

Angel also launched Miracle TV and GoodNews TV, through which he carries out regular speaking engagements and broadcasts programs on behalf of the GoodNews Church. He is also the founder and president of the Osborn Institute of Theology, an online Bible school launched in August 2012.

Uebert Angel is also a businessman with multiple ventures. He entered the real estate sector by developing residential properties before expanding into commercial establishments, land acquisition, and property trading. In 2006, he made his first property sale, and in 2008, he founded Sam Barkeley Construction and The Angel Organization, the parent company overseeing his business interests. He currently serves as its CEO.

In March 2021, Angel was appointed Zimbabwe’s Ambassador at Large and Presidential Envoy by President Emmerson Mnangagwa. This role tasked him with seeking trade and investment opportunities for Zimbabwe. Since his appointment, he has embarked on several projects to promote economic growth.

In July 2023, he was also appointed as the Ambassador for Interfaith Dialogue and Humanitarian Affairs at the Pan-African Parliament of the African Union.

Angel and his wife, Beverley, have been actively involved in charity work since the launch of his church in 2007. Through the "Adopt a Family" scheme, they provide monthly groceries and pay tuition fees for children in need across Africa and Asia.

In November 2015, Angel and his wife established the Uebert Angel Foundation, which offers scholarships and financial aid to underprivileged students.

In January 2020, Angel and Beverley paid the school fees for an entire school of 797 students at Kadyamadare Primary School in the Chikwaka Communal Lands, Zimbabwe. The following month, in February, they extended the same support to 1,026 students at Bota Primary School in Masvingo, covering both tuition fees and levies for the entire year.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Uebert Angel Foundation (UAF) carried out various charitable initiatives, beginning with a $15,000 donation in mealie meal to feed vulnerable families in Zimbabwe. One month later, the foundation donated additional bags of mealie meal and cooking oil to support struggling families in his 5,000-member Harare branch of Spirit Embassy: Good News Church.

Uebert Angel has impacted millions of lives through his satellite broadcasting channels, Miracle TV and Good News TV, which air his healing, prophetic, and revelatory teachings 24/7 across the globe.

He is also a bestselling author of numerous books, including:

  • How to Hear the Voice of God
  • Defeating the Demon of Poverty
  • GoodNews Daily (a devotional he co-authors with his wife, Beverley Angel)

Through a ministry renowned for miracles, signs, wonders, and accurate prophecies, Uebert Angel has helped countless individuals experience healing and transformation.
